Screw Grommets, Captive Nuts, Lokut Nuts or Expansion Nuts

Plastic Screw Grommets (often referred to as Captive Nuts, Lokut Nuts or Expansion Nuts) are widely used. You insert the grommet into a square slot that has been cut into a panel. The Screw Grommets can then receive a screw to secure an item to the panel.

Sealing Screw Grommets are ideal for applications which require the prevention of water or dirt ingress. Inverted Screw Grommets snaps into various panel thicknesses, these products have a split in the nut enabling the grommet to be easily inserted into a panel.

Closed-End Screw Grommets ensure that the appropriately-sized screw remains encapsulated in the plastic after fitting, thus providing a robust fixing for screws.
