Use Lift-the-DOT® Fasteners
Lift-the-DOT® Fasteners can only be released when lifted in the correct direction. This is a very useful feature for many applications. They also have far greater shear strength than press studs. This makes them very useful for fabric (including leather) to fabric and fabric to solid substrate situations where there is movement or shock; typically marine and automotive applications.
They are easy to fit and come with fixing options suitable for fabric, thin panels and solid substrates. The best way to fix them is to use a specialist Attaching Tool for Lift-the-DOT® Fasteners.
