Pocket Door Slides
Pocket Door systems combine a ball-bearing slide with standard concealed hinges. With the door in the open position, it will slide neatly into a cavity in the side of the cabinet. They are easy to install and don’t inhibit or obstruct the space around the unit like a regular hinged door.
In the home, pocket doors are used in TV/media units, kitchen work areas and home offices. They are also used in many applications in contract furniture for education, medical and office environments. In the open position, the door is retracted leaving the area around the unit clear and uncluttered. When closed, equipment and work areas are tidily concealed behind the doors.
Accuride 1234 Pocket Door Slides are easy to fit, can be mounted vertically or horizontally and will support doors weighing up to 14kg with a maximum height of 1100mm. The Accuride 1432 Pocket Door System is designed for doors up to 2300mm in height and 34kg weight. The supplied cable system synchronises the slides which gives extra stability and support. Carrier Strips and Hinge Kits are available to aid easy installation.
We offer Inset Hinge kits and Overlay Hinge kits to be used in conjunction with pocket door slides.
