This range of Camloc Standard Vari-Lift Gas Springs / Gas Struts are available for various panel weights, see table below. Spring force can be varied from 5kg to 250kg, with stroke lengths from 60mm to 500mm depending on which Gas Strut you choose.
Our Camloc Standard Variable Lift Gas Springs are available in an extensive selection of sizes and can be fitted with a wide range of End Connectors and Mounting Brackets to suit most applications.
When Gas Springs are used, it is often found that theoretical forces will be incorrect because factors such as hinge friction and perceived speed of action will have a bearing on calculations.
Variable Lift Gas Springs overcome this problem as they can be adjusted to meet individual preferences and can also be adjusted whilst in position, saving you both time and effort.
These struts are charged to their maximum force during manufacture. By using the standard tool provided, gas can be gradually released via the Vari-Lift valve to provide the force suited to your application.
WARNING: The force can be adjusted downwards only. (See Vari-Lift Adjustment Instructions for further clarification.)
Note - The Force Range is shown as supplied fully charged at maximum and can be gradually released down to the minimum - See table below.
