The Aylesbury site still manufactures bespoke metal pressings and stampings for which the original design can be traced back to the 1940s.

 

Over the years, JET PRESS has manufactured hundreds of different types of bespoke metal stamped components and spring steel pressings in high volumes. The facility is able to form variations of flat metal strip into a wide variety of shapes and sizes required for an extensive range of fasteners and engineered components, from simple clips to highly engineered bespoke developments.  Everything from hose bands for modern turbochargers for the automotive industry, to edge and cable clips for hundreds of  different automotive pipe and panel fastening applications.

Standard Line

A selection of our standard products which are available in various finishes. 

 Edge Clips

Edge Clips use barbs as a method of securing the clip to the panel. We supply various types including Standard, D Type, S Type and Extrusion Mounting to suit a range of applications.

Cable Edge Clips

Cable Edge Clips are quick and easy to install. They push or tap onto the edge of the panel or I-beam with no special installation tools required. Barbs secure the Cable Edge Clips securely in place. Various types are available, Standard, Double, Heavy-Duty, Flared and Multi-fit.

Spring Steel Hose Clamps

Spring Steel Band Clamps are designed for the retention of low pressure, light-duty hoses.

In-Air Cable Clips

In-Air Cable Clips hold pipes, cables or tubular components to any other pipe or cable running in parallel.

Bespoke Metal Pressing

Through our highly-experienced and skilled workforce, we are able to manufacture custom metal pressings and stampings and maintain strict tolerance levels and also adapt the existing tooling to suit specific customer requirements.

  • With capacity to manufacture in strip widths from 6mm to 40mm and in thicknesses of 0.25mm to 0.8mm carbon steel.
  • We can manufacture a wide variety of sizes from small retaining clips to large capacity three-way clips.
  • Our range of machine tools at the site includes 14 high-capacity, multi-slide forming machines.
  • Currently the company holds 500 tools with 200 of these in current or regular use.
