Working with Orbik on a Prestige Project

We are very proud of this project
Firstly, we are very happy to be working with Orbik. Orbik has over 35 years experience in the emergency lighting and fire safety industry. They have a hard-earned reputation for quality and high standards. The company is represented on the technical committees of the British Standards Institute (BSI), the Industry Committee for Emergency Lighting (ICEL) and the Lighting Industry Association (LIA).
So, we were flattered when they first approached us about this project more than two years ago.
Because of the nature of the project there was a two-year approval process involving shock and vibration testing. And the Orbik system, including fasteners from JET PRESS, passed with flying colours.

Tried and extensively tested parts
The parts we are supplying to Orbik are a Quarter Turn Dome Head Stud and a Quarter Turn Neoprene Washer.
A Quarter Turn Dome Head Stud is easy to apply. You just press insert it through a panel and into a clip on the bottom panel. They are equally easy to release. Turn the stud through a quarter turn using a flat head screwdriver or even a coin. These studs are made from brass so they will not corrode, even in harsh environments.
The studs are paired with Quarter Turn Neoprene Washers. These help to seal the hole and they reduce vibration. These washers perform in a temperature range from -40°C to +90°C. Neoprene is also very inert, so it will not react with chemicals.
