A flared Cable Edge Clips is designed so it minimises chafing. Where there is movement or vibration there is a risk that a pipe or cable will chafe against the clip holding it to the panel. This can damage the pipe or cable. Cables and pipes can be inserted and removed once the clip is securely in place.
There are no special tools required to install these clips. They are tapped in with a hammer.
